Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Skript Rooms, the website at www.skriptrooms.com and the application at app.skriptrooms.com (together, the Service). The Service is provided by InMind, informacijske storitve, d.o.o., Šišenska cesta 45, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, company registration number 9931724000 (we, us). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
The Service
Skript Rooms is writers’ room software for developing series and films: rooms with a story board, a season grid, sessions with video calls and notes, a calendar, a draft register and a record of contributions. We may change or improve the Service over time. We will not remove a core feature without reasonable notice.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your login details safe. One person, one account.
Plans and prices
A plan belongs to a room. There are three plans.
- Free. One room with up to two people. No payment details are needed.
- Writers Room. One room with up to eight people, for €35 a month or €350 a year. Outside Europe the price is US$29 a month or US$290 a year. Each further room is paid separately.
- Productions. Rooms as agreed in a written offer, from €2,500 (US$4,000 outside Europe) per room, per season, invoiced by InMind d.o.o. The offer you accept sets the price and terms.
Prices in euros include VAT. For prices in dollars, tax is added at checkout where it applies. Every tool in the room is part of every plan. Video calls and recording on the Free and Writers Room plans come with a monthly allowance sized for the plan. If a room uses it up, calls or recording pause until the next month and everything else in the room keeps working.
We may change prices and the limits of a plan with reasonable notice. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, adds any tax that applies and sends you the receipt or invoice. Your purchase is also subject to the Paddle buyer terms.
The Writers Room plan is a subscription. It renews every month or every year, at the price shown when you paid, until it is cancelled. Only the owner of a room can pay for it.
Cancelling and refunds
The owner of a room can cancel its subscription at any time in Room settings. The room keeps its plan until the end of the period already paid for and then goes back to Free. Nobody is removed from the room and nothing in it is deleted. Deleting a paid room ends its subscription at once.

Your content
Everything you and your collaborators put into a room (cards, notes, decisions, drafts, files, transcripts) remains yours. You give us only the licence we need to store, display and process that content in order to run the Service for you and the people you have invited. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not share it with anyone outside the room except the service providers described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for what you share with the people in your rooms. The record of contributions that the Service keeps is a factual log of activity in the room; it is not a legal determination of authorship or credit, which remains a matter between the collaborators and their agreements.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe other people’s rights, harass anyone, distribute malware, or interfere with the Service or other users. Do not try to access rooms or accounts you have not been invited to. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and back up its data, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may pause the Service for maintenance. Support is provided by e-mail at hello@skriptrooms.com.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms or that has been inactive for a long time, in which case we will tell you first where we can. When a room is deleted, its content is removed from the Service. Export what you need before that.
Liability
The Service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Disputes that we cannot settle amicably are decided by the competent court in Ljubljana. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country still apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version here and, for material changes, tell you inside the Service or by e-mail at least 14 days before they take effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
